Simon Pooley's Painting and John Maltby's sculpture

SIMON POOLEY’s love of drawing is evident in this collection of his acrylic paintings. Subjects are drawn from memories of travels in hot countries as much as by his local landscape of West Penwith.

Simons paintings are floated on a white background surrounded by white square moulding, Distance from image (which is the size given) to outer edge of frame is about 4”. Prices on request.

Rose Hilton paintings and Catriona McLeod ceramics
ROSE HILTON has an unerring ability to hold transient moments in her oil paintings, whether a model’s fleeting expression in her studio, or a cloud’s sudden descent on a sunny landscape.

Her use of colour is quite unique; marvellous juxtapositions of hues in abstracts, landscapes and figure studies alike. Undoubtedly this is affected by the light at the edge of Cornwall where she lives and paints.

Sizes given are for the image alone. Frames are between 3” and 4” deep. Prices on request.

Icarus & Lazarus Mary Orrom

MARY ORROM uses a variety of materials for her outdoor sculpture. Most of her stylised figures are moulded in clay and fired to stoneware temperatures. Some others are constructed from wire and galvanized chicken wire, and inside the gallery are smaller pieces – maquettes for the larger work, made in terracotta which is then smoked and burnished.
