Mark Hearld

MH1 - Through the Thistles - 88 x 118cm - £2,250 Sold
MARK HEARLD is something of a Wonder himself! His work has attracted a following from the moment he left the Royal College of Art with a Master’s Degree in Natural History Illustration. Constantly broadening his scope, experimenting with different materials, Mark has over the past 20 years or so produced a vast oeuvre of memorable work. His most recognised medium, however, is collage. The fluid brushstrokes of his painting are echoed with equal dexterity in his use of torn or cut paper. Mark’s fertile imagination brings glimpses of wild and domestic creatures to life through his deft snipping of painted paper and card.
