Our season opens with this guest exhibition, curated by potter Christine Feiler, to celebrate the paintings of her mother JUNE MILES (1924-2021) alongside work of her gifted artistic family: her father Paul Feiler, sons Ben and Paul, Christine herself and the sculpture of Paul Mount, June’s second husband.

’Relationships of colours and forms are the building blocks of a painting.  I use colour much as a musician will place note against note, using the recessive and dominant colours to describe forms within space.  In the end one has to find one’s own way of solving the problems one has set for oneself’.    June Miles

Two of his sculptures were purchased by The City of London and stand outside St Paul's Cathedral.
