Textile artist VERINA WARREN showed at Yew Tree Gallery from late 1970s through to the early ‘90s – including exhibitions curated by Gilly in the USA and Norway. Her unique perspective on landscape was interpreted through hand and machine embroidery combined with painting. Many of her subjects were based on the Derbyshire countryside where she lived with her husband Stewart who created intricate wood framing for Verina’s work.
