Willow artist and sculptor LIZZIE FAREY works in Scotland, creating wall-hung and free-standing pieces which are distinctively unique. Treating her materials (which range from willow, birch, heather, bog myrtle..) with respect and empathy, she never distorts or forces it into alien forms but allows it to flow in natural rhythms. She says: “For me, willow has become a medium for an interaction with nature that is deeply personal”.
