TERRY SHONE has developed his unique ceramic style after a lifelong interest in traditional slip-wares and the lively images of C19th Staffordshire flatbacks. Wild and domestic animals   pose proudly as if in a Victorian photograph – albeit in a contemporary interpretation. The slab-built, modelled forms are decorated with coloured slips and glazes, frequently reworked over several firings with enamels and lustres.
