Our season opens with this guest exhibition, curated by potter CHRISTINE FEILER<\/strong>, to celebrate the paintings of her mother JUNE MILES<\/strong> (1924-2021) alongside work of her gifted artistic family: her father PAUL FEILER<\/strong>, sons BEN PEERS<\/strong> and PAUL PEERS<\/strong>, Christine herself and the sculpture of PAUL MOUNT<\/strong>, June\u2019s second husband.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

June lived in St Just for many years and a number of her paintings reflect the landscapes of West Penwith, alongside scenes inspired by her travels in Spain, and France and still-lifes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Christine is a well known ceramicist working from a studio in Penzance.\u00a0 <\/span>An elected member of the Penwith Society of Arts, she uses white stoneware to create her delicately formed pots, glazed in subtle tones, often with stripes and ripples of colour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
