 <\/p>\n

After an idyllic childhood in St Ives \u2013 spent mainly outdoors, Sally\u2019s initial art training was at St Martin\u2019s School of Art in 1968. However, greater understanding about \u2018art\u2019 and the skill of drawing was derived from 5 years working at the Richard Demarco Gallery in Edinburgh where international exhibitions of contemporary artists were held during the Festival.. Her curatorial skills led her to stage exhibitions abroad and finally to work at MOMA in Oxford.\u00a0\u00a0 A return to St Ives with her children in 2002 led her back to her own painting. Following a 2-year course at the School of Painting, Sally has subsequently devoted much of her time to a deeper involvement with the landscape \u2013 attracted by \u2018the poetry of place \u2013 the light, the colour, the mood\u2019\u2026and equally to flowers and interiors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
