HELEN MARTINO<\/strong> is a well-established studio potter working in Cambridge.\u00a0\u00a0 For many years she made functional pots on the wheel. However, once drawn to attending John Maltby\u2019s Slab Building workshops at Aberystwyth Arts Centre in the early 2000s, she became fascinated by building small sculptures with a narrative element, and invariably, a mischievous sense of humour. Here she shows \u2018Angels with Attitude \u2013 as they are just leading everyday lives\u2019. Her \u2018Dishy Ladies\u2019 have evolved from the bowl form. This little collection is a \u2018taster\u2019 of her work as she will be showing a broader range in Yew Tree\u2019s summer exhibition 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
